Results of a questionnaire carried out by Polish Ecological Club Mazovian Branch among incumbent Members of the Lower House of Polish Parliament from different parliamentary fractions show that almost 80% of them believe that climate change exists and results from human activities. According to Climate Coalition, for the time being, the draft of the agreement that was presented this morning at the climate conference in Copenhagen is merely a collection of meaningless political declarations. If the proposed form of the agreement is finally approved during COP15, there would be no chance to keep global temperature rise below the level of 2degC. The document presented this morning neither contains any specific figures concerning greenhouse gases reduction, nor determines time

According to Climate Coalition, President Barack Obama’s speech at the Climate Conference sounded pretty, but it lacked content. The United States did not change its previous position. Contrary to what everybody had expected, it was not a speech that could have brought about major breakthrough in the negotiations.     
The blame game - Climate Coalition reporting from Copenhagen

The atmosphere is heating up during the climate negotiations in Copenhagen. Behind the scenes as well as openly, country representatives accuse one another of blocking the process and lack of ambitious proposals. There is 1.5 day left until the end of the conference, however the negotiators still repeat their statements and add or remove brackets from the texts, and the leaders make smooth speeches.
